The 54th Panda Game, the most well-known Canadian university rivalry between the uOttawa Gee-Gees and the Carleton Ravens football teams.


In the final moments of the Panda Game, the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees defeated the Carleton Ravens 18–16 thanks to a field goal. As the fourth quarter came to a close, the Ravens, hoping to snap a six-year losing streak, led by one point. However, Campbell Fair’s 55-yard walk-off field goal gave uOttawa the two points it needed to win.

More than 24000 panda sports lover entertain the match  .Local police tried best to manage the crowed. The Panda Game is usually played on a Saturday, however this year it is on a Sunday due to the Ottawa Redblacks playing at TD Place on Saturday. This move may possibly result in less partying.

Panda Sports /Game History : The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton University Ravens, two OUA football teams in Ottawa, Ontario, play an annual Canadian football game known as the Panda Sports (French: Match Panda).  In Canadian college football, it is the biggest rivalry. Pedro the Panda, the trophy that is given to the victor every year, is the source of the title. Despite being a part of the normal East division season, the game is much anticipated because of its rich history. The week leading up to the game is frequently called “Panda Week”.
